SUMMARY

Share -> Send via Email cannot be set to open Thunderbird to send files. It
requires KMail which is not installed in KDE Neon by default.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a file and try to attach it to Thunderbird via Share -> Send via
Email
2. Changing default to /usr/bin/thunderbird has no effect.

OBSERVED RESULT
Error: Could not find the program 'kmailservice'

EXPECTED RESULT
Either get rid of the menue (as KMail is not installed) or respect the default
proram setting and open Thunderbird.

What does System Settings > Default Applications > Email client say? Is it set
to KMail, or have you chosen Thunderbird as your preferred email client?

Default Application: It is set to "Use a different email client" and

However adding Thunderbird via " ... , Choose Application" and search for
Thunderbird has no effect (!). I had to find the executive file myself.

It's not working on my system too.
Window to compose email opens but the file is not attached.
Tested with png and webm files.

thunderbird 60.3.0
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.2
Qt Version: 5.12.0 beta3
